From March 25th to March 29th seven members of the DMA (Bridget Kleinberg, Justin Rosenblum,Krupa Desai, Manny Romano, Paul D'Orio, Sarah Antolini, Victoria Lam) attended the 31st Anual American Marketing Assocation International Collegiate Conference. This three day marketing extravaganza included a variety of activities including workshops, speakers, networking, and competitions. In  this year's competition the DMA placed 1st in the SABRE Business Simulator against top schools around the country. SABRE, (Strategic Allocation of Business REsources), is a Windows based computer program developed by a Cambridge PhD and used on MBA programs worldwide. Teams may add and withdraw products from the marketplace as well as advertise, price, distribute and design those products to best fit varying market segments. The Drexel Marketing Association was also recognized for the design and content of its website (www.drexelmarketing.org) by placing 3rd in the Website Competition.

The conference was truly a great experience, more than just a competition it was a place where a student could learn, meet new people, have fun, and share that experience with hundreds of students from around the world. The DMA looks forward to its continued participation within the conference and next year hopes to win even more awards and take a greater number of Drexel students on this amazing trip.
